Welcome to the Seven Lakes High School choir website. You can find information about the Seven Lakes High School Choir program as well as information about upcoming events and concerts. All of our contact information can be found at the bottom of this page as well as other information that you may need access to on a regular basis. The Seven Lakes High School Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony & Chorale will present "America the Beautiful", featuring music of American Composers. The featured work will be Lowell Liebermann's Symphony No. 2 conducted by Jeffrey Grogan of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra. The honored guest for the evening will be one of America's most frequently performed and recorded living composers, Mr. Lowell Liebermann.

The event will begin at 8:00pm on Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the SLHS Performing Arts Center. Admission price is $5 per person. To order tickets please contact Maureen Racine at mkracine@comcast.net or 281.579.0311

Help Sam Fight

Samantha Loos-Polk, one of our choir members, has been diagnosed with leukemia. She is currently undergoing treatment at Texas Children's Hospital. A foundation has been established to help with her care. The "Help Sam Fight" website contains information on the many ways you can help.

    Volunteers

    The Seven Lakes High School Choir Booster Club's purpose is to support, promote, and render financial aid to choir student activities, opportunities, and the objectives of the SLHS choral program. The choir has many volunteer opportunities and we encourage parents to become involved. Here are some ways you can become involved in the SLHS Choir program.

    Chaperones All State audition process, Solo & Ensemble, UIL Competition, car washes, Spring Trip...
     
    Uniforms Assist with the distribution and inventory of uniforms.
     
    Baked Goods Parents can help by supplying baked goods for different events throughout the year.

    Six Seven Lakes High School choir students advanced to the Area auditions in the All State process. They will be auditioning for the All State Choir on January 9, 2010. They are:

    The total trip cost will be $525.00 per student. Payments may be divided into four installments to be paid on the following schedule:

    Fund Raisers

    This season

    Our Fall 2009 fund raiser will run from September 15th through October 6th. We will be selling items from the Innisbrook catalog. Money and orders are due on October 5, 2009. Expected delivery of items will be the week of November 9.

    We will also be having a car wash at Kroger on Westheimer and Mason on Saturday, September 19th from 8AM - 2PM.

    Choir booster car window decals are also available for $5 in the choir room.
